Yahoo acquires Dialpad.com

“Internet Giant” Yahoo! has purchased Dialpad, a company that offers Internet telephony services. Diapad.com has been offering quality IP Telephony services since 1999. It has been a boon to the parents and relatives of Indians whose wards are “living, loving and earning” in the U.S.
This acquisition will help Yahoo to deploy VOIP solutions in a more efficient and professional way. It is also likely to be integrated with the Yahoo Instant Messenger soon.
Dialpad has been offering Prepaid, Monthly, USA and Calling card services each tailermade for different segments. They were also testing an “end-to-end” VoIP service over the North American continent. It is to be seen as to what the big brother Yahoo would do with that toy!
