Look at the gruesome scenes of clash between two groups of law students at Chennai on 13th November 2008 using deadly weapons. The pity is that a posse of policemen were simple spectators of the continuous violence which was videographed by news channels for many hours. The police or the state administration did nothing to stop the violence, while the people were watching live coverage of the clashes on television for hours on end.
The pity of it is that these are the folks who are going to uphold the law of the land as advocates. God save the fatherland!!
