Do brahmins still belong to an upper caste?

The pathetic condition of Brahmins:
(The video contains several parts of audio in Hindi.)

Brahmins in India have become a minority

It is ironical that Indians who happen to be born to Brahmin parents are treated as second class citizens by being classified as belonging to an “Upper Caste” or a “forward caste”, thus denying them quality education and jobs in Government service. And on top of it, they have become the object of ridicule and hatred in the society.

Here is an article in Outlook magazine on how poverty knows no caste. “Many Brahmins eke out a living cleaning toilets, pulling rickshaws.”

there is no irony in this. The brahmins still get the creamy layer of the employment and professional opportunities. they dont want to take any simple jobs. They just want to be in the “TOP” position to boss aroundthe poor people of other caste.

  2. S.K Post author

    Delphine,

Your argument is passe, hollow and devoid of any substance. This is the canard which has been spread amidst the community, just to create a hate mindset against Brahmins.

Could you please look around you and try to spot any brahmin who is on “top” and “bosses around the poor”? What is left of them to be on top? They don’t get admission in medical or ranking engineering colleges. They don’t get any government job. They are not capable of doing business. They do not belong to land-owning genre either, like the dominating communities of Tamil Nadu.

I think people like you have been brainwashed to hate brahmins for their mere existence!

    Have a heart!

  3. dephine2

hey SK. delphine is true.. n i think u dont need any explanation… dont try to brainwash others.. n i m 100% sure u r a bramhin.. thts y triyn to hide d fact n expose d wrong things.. anyway..

  4. Raj

I think delphine and delphine2 are either living in a make believe world or are somehow connected to the politicians in TN who love brahmin bashing. Already a lot of the brahmin that had the opportunity to leave have left due to lack of equal opportunities. After a while there won’t be any more left and who will you guys use as a scapegoat then? Society won’t progress unless everyone is offered an equal opportunity. I don’t think S.K. is trying to hide any facts and is merely stating how it is. Good post S.K. There is a dearth of hypocrisy to deny brahmins education seats, government jobs and complain that they are yet somehow ‘privileged’. If delphine and delphine2 would prefer to ignore facts and simply harp on the same old story that might have existing 50 years ago then it might be time to wake up.

Brahmins who have ruled or otherwise influenced people who ruled the holy land of india for more than 4000 years are really getting sucked by the increasing domination of people who suffered all these 4000 years. comeon you brahmins!! Suffer, so that u have made all others suffer these 4000 years. Go and take up jobs of cleaning toilets and scavenge streets. Whatever chances u might have been refused but you cant never undergo sufferings of being an untouchable in holy land of india. Reservations must continue till the time each and every profession is equally shared by each and every caste of this society. we may stop reservation the day the last dalit is feeling that he is equal to a top brahmin. Hail reservations!!!

  6. S.K

Aravind, You have been thoroughly brainwashed on this 4000 years stuff. What is your source of information? Who are the people that clean toilets? The rich non-brahmins who belong to the so-called “upper castes”?

Who still practice the infamous “2-tumbler” system and prevent dalits from contesting in panchayet elections – brahmins?

Who harass and burn dalits – brahmins?

Who segregate dalits with a boundary wall – Brahmins?

Who strip dalits naked and beat them on the streets – Brahmins?

I tell you, in India there are only 2 castes who are being persecuted- Brahmins and Dalits.

    This is the truth.

    S.K

  7. Madhu.M

These bloody Brahmins divided our society. They should and will be punished for what they have done all these years. As part-1 they are not getting dominant jobs.Still there are a lot part-2,part-3,…..etc.One day will come where they have to clean toilets and do scavenging work.I agree with Aravind reservations should be continued. If reservations are removed when i am alive then really i will become a Dalit terrorist.JAI BHEEM….

  8. Deek

I just dont understand all this. Wow what a temprament Mr Madhu. Really ridiculous, i must say. Shit like you should be thrown off. I am not favoring Brahmins, neither do i favor Dalits. I just dont understand the issue of reservation. Cant it be removed completely. I dont understand, how does it helps. It helps in getting an admission seat/job to a person who is not capable. If you are capable, prove it, else dont crib about being brahmin/dalit. Nobody wants to be screwed by a doctor who just got the degree becuase of his caste. Be it low or high. This caste funda is really sick, n should be washed off the society ASAP. I really hate people like Madhu who support this castism. Such people are like shit to the society. n its coz of few such people that Indian society is suffering today. Some were Brahmins, and some Dalits too.

But guys, high time… Stop cribbing about your caste. If you have the capability, show it, n grab the opportunity.

  9. Roderick

    Deek,
Yes deek I agree. Reservation must be there for the
needy persons i.e. economically backward class.

  10. parag

    Hi,
Let me clear first that I am not a brahmin. Though what I feel really regarding the reservations is yes there must some reservations but should not be based on any caste. Those should be strictly based on powerty line. This will be the best way to get all the india on top. The great babasaheb ambedkar has thought the same way. The reservations were only for 30 years as he has mentioned. But as Indiara Gandhi (who though brahmin is fool. In fact here entire family is not good for india) who was behind the votes has extended it and it is still getting extended because of votes. I have read some articles that when reservations were offered to negros in america, they just rejected it. Whereas in india all want it. Every caste need a reservations. Why so? Don’t we have brains???? And if all non-brahmin (non-open) people like us need the reservations, we shoould accept that brahmins are more talented than us and still they are the creme of the indian society.

  11. raj

    hi,
brahmins are suffering because, they themselves have created caste systems through scriptures like
manu smriti which allowed them to dominate the indian society till now. morden ideas were developed in europre during 15th &16th century were not allowed to adopt in india during freedom
movement. even social reformers like mahatma phule, justice ranade, vidya sagar and dr. ambedkar were targeted by orhodox brahmins. so you brahmins are responsible for current status. even now u r not realising your sins on dalits and womens. ever want to go for understanding reality go to metro like pune and chennai, and visit colonies of brahmins, they dont rent their house to dalits. temples like puri are not opened to dalits. brahmin priests are even flouting high court order to open it for all hindus. be rational about social reality and then argue for anything

  12. raj

what did this video suggest? brahmins still want to die , but not want to do any job according to his ability, they all want govt. job. do you know how many people belongs to sc & st categories are below poverty line? 40%or more. do you know there are bonded labourers employed in many parts of india? more than 90%of them belongs to sc/st people. do you know how much they are being paid? paltry 50/- a day for 8 hours in scorching heat.do you know that tribals once had a some earning while cultivating forest land(as they are living in forest since ages) now they work on constructing highways, rail lines, factories because theyhave been evicted from forest by govt. companies and development projects like narmada dam… but still any brahmins ever thought about them. they curse reservation for not getting job in govt. but not willing to work on manual works(majority) . brahmin don’t respect manual jobs that’s why they kept them for sc/st throughout the history of india by the help of religious books and ritual practices. now in morden democracy which need representation of every community in every process(legislative, executive and judiciary) but u deny others in the name of merit. merit does no means scores in examination which it self patently developed for themselves. so dont use the word merit for god sake. i wish you to change yourself for by leaving aside your arrogance so called higher caste status and lastly banning chaturvarna out of hindu fold . u can take help from rss, vhp bd which are any way wasting their energy by terrorising minorities. if they want to help hinduism/ brahminism then use their force in banning chatur varna in any form. i wish u people can pesuade them

  13. half brahmax

Did they ever belong to the ‘upper caste’?
If so, in what sense were they ‘upper’? Like ‘upper berth’?
Or is it a non-brahmin conspiracy to make the poor dumb brahmins go around in circles?

    DR. AMBEDKAR ON CONVERSION

In his book “Why Conversion”, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar says that
    untouchability
is a permanent feature of the Hindu society. In order to attain freedom
    from the
evil practice, he urges the victims to establish close relations with
    other societies
to embrace another religion. He concludes that conversion is the only
    way to
achieve eternal bliss, for, by becoming a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or
    Sikh,
a convert will get the political safeguards of the religion of his
    choice.

    OUR CHALLENGE!

Is there a Christian, Sikh or Muslim who has willingly embraced
    Hinduism? Even
if a person should decide to become a Hindu, which caste will he choose?
    He
cannot – for sure – become a Brahmin for according to Veda, he has to
    die three
more deaths. But would any Brahmin object to his becoming a Shudra?

    APARTHEID AND BRAHMINISM

In India the 5 % Brahmins rule over 95 % of the Indian population. In
    South Africa
15 % Whites rule over the 85 % Black race. Does India then have any
    right to point
an accusing finger at the apartheid policy of South Africa when the
    worst kinds of
discrimination are being practised in India?

We talk “democracy” and “equality before the law” but keep a third of
India’s 800 million people as Untouchables, unseeables and
    unapproachables!

    THE MEDIA AND THE BRAHMINS

Who has the major share of magazines/newspapers published in India? The
    Brahmins/RSS of course!

According to a recent survey their share of the media is approximately
    81 %.
The following are the well known Newspapers that are owned by the
    Brahmins, not
to mention so many others which are financed less by the Brahmins to
    blow their
    trumpets.

The Indian Express – 93 % employees are Brahmins
The Hindu – 97 % employees are Brahmins
The Times of India – 73 % employees are Brahmins

These Brahmins have invaded both All India Radio and Television. Most of
    the
time the Brahmins and their programmes are on air.

    THE WEALTHY BRAHMINS

    MANU VII, 133 says that:

“Brahmins should not be taxed and should be maintained by the State.”

ABOUT LOW CASTE Shudras – MANU XMRITI X, 129 says that:

That no collection of wealth was to be made by a Shudra, even though he
    may
be capable, for a Shudra who has acquired wealth would pain a Brahmin,
    and that
Brahmins may appropriate by force the property of the Shudra.

    PANCHVANISH BRAHMIN 3-1/1 I says:

Even if a Shudra acquired wealth, he must always remain a slave. His
    main job
is to wash the feet of the higher caste.

TULSIDAS, A Brahmin in his Ramayana writes:

Even if a Shudra is learned and virtuous, he should not be given respect
    and honour.
When the British left India, almost all the industries owned by them
    were taken over
by the Brahmins. So much so that today they own about 60 % of the
    leading Industries
    in the country.

Remember their (Brahmin) population is only 5 % of the total population
    of India.

JUST 5 % (BRAHMINS) CAPTURE OVER 60 % OF THE POSITIONS

    1. Loksabha 48% are Brahmins
    2. Rajyasabha 36 % are Brahmins
    3. Governor/L.G. 50 % are Brahmins
    4. Secretary to Governor/ L.G. 54 % are Brahmins
    5. Union Cabinet Secretaries 53 % are Brahmins
    6. Chief Secretaries to Minister 54 % are Brahmins
    7. Private Secretaries to Minister 70 % are Brahmins
    8. JS/ Additional Secretaries 62 % are Brahmins
    9. Vice-Chancellors to Universities 51% are Brahmins
    10. Supreme Court Judges 65 % are Brahmins
    11. High Court Judges/ Addl. Judges 50 % are Brahmins
    12. Ambassadors 41% are Brahmins
    13. Chief Executive of Public undertaking:
    (i) Central 57 % are Brahmins
(ii) State 82 % are Brahmins

(Courtesy: Voice of the Week, Oct. 1989)

    In other fields also:

    Banks 57% are Brahmins
    Airlines 61 % are Brahmins
    IAS Offices 72% are Brahmins
IPS Office 61 % are Brahmins
Radio & TV 83% are Brahmins
CBI, Customs & Central Excise 72% are Brahmins

This then is the employment situation in our country. The cream of the
    jobs goes
    to the five percent Brahmins.

Do you get a fair salary for your hard work? Probably not! Because your
paymasters are Brahmins. Remember! Your children and grand children will

suffer the same fate, or worse, if you don’t free yourself from the
    control of the
    Brahmin.

Since independence, India has been ruled only by Brahmins. All the Prime

Ministers (except V.P. Singh) have so far been Brahmins.

  15. Aadhil

    WHO ARE THE BRAHMINS?

The word Brahmin incorporates all the upper-caste Hindus of India. They
    claim
that, because they were made from God Brahma’s head, they are the chosen

people of God. Worshipping a Brahmin is akin to worshippirig God
    incarnate.
Serving a Brahmin and offering him alms is like serving God himself.
    These are
in the beliefs that are inculcated in the minds of all other people,
    especially in the
low caste Hindus. As a result, five percent of the Indian population
    have
psychologically enslaved the other 95 percent.

The Brahmins are the “Aryan” invaders of India who entered the country
thousands of years ago via the Khyber Pass. Over the centuries they have

established themselves firmly on Indian soil by ruling over, and
    enslaving, the
    country’s original inhabitants.

  16. arindam

    Aadhil and all
first of all there is still a lot of contoversy on the fact that “did really aryans come from outside India”…………..

secondly in every era and at every place there is a small group of people who rule over the majority………..if some of you have problems with manu samhita just remember in future many will have problems with your so called “constitution” through which majority of under qualified want to deny the talent of a few.

thirdly brahmins are not only priests…….even in ancient India they were the people attached to academia………they were considered to be the upper cast because knowledge
held the most respectable position……….if you
question brahmins are still the topmost caste or not plz get informed what is the percentage of top academicians of India are brahmins.

fourthly, the people who are supporting reservation probably they are jealous and trying to find excuse for their incompetence…………why the hell numerical supremacy of your caste should be treated as a qualification in getting into places like iit or iim?

  17. ravanan

I think it is absurd that we are having the discussion about brahmins being mis-treated aftre so many years of humiliation at the hands of the establishment. It is time those who are exposed to to the wrong end of reservation policy address teh issue headlong. Take it as ablessing and get into business. go work in middle east or western countries or singapore. if you are good you will get rewarded for it. those who cannot get out of the country should get into business and grow it. “security” does not exist any more. gain enough finance and influence to help other brahmins who are suffering and may not have the initiative you had. so what if you cannot be a doctor or an engineer. there are a milion other ways to survive and flourish. I would say that this is a positive way to move forward rather than to get into unproductive arguements with frustrated failures in life who blame all except tehmselves for their failure in life

  18. Sunitha Ramesh

From some of the comments posted, one must conclude that there is an organised conspiracy against the brahmins.

For more than a century, anti-social genocidal elements have fabricated and circulated all kinds of lies and falsehoods against the Brahmins to deprive them of their citizenship and their right to live.

One person has written about something that supposedly happened several thousand years ago as if he has seen it with his own eyes. What is the source of such information? Naturally, the anti-social casteist parties of TN.

We don’t know what happened several thousand years ago. But what is the reality today? 99.50% jobs/seats/assembly seats/100% scholarships in TN/AP/Karnataka have been grabbed by the ‘reservation gang’ and that is called SOCIAL JUSTICE!

One fool has quoted data of so-called ‘brahmin’ representation in govt that dates back to 1989! (nearly twenty years ago)

One fool cum liar on 12th Dec 08 says “Since independence, India has been ruled only by Brahmins. All the Prime Ministers (except V.P. Singh) have so far been Brahmins”

Now let us consider the facts. Nehru, Morarji Desai, Narasimha Rao, AB Vajapee were brahmins.

Lal Bahadur Shastri, GL Nanda, C.Charan Singh, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, VP Singh, Deve Gowda, IK Gujral, MM Singh are all non-brahmins.

So one lie is easily busted. Almost everything about ‘brahmins’ is a big lie. This big gang of atrocity committers and supramacists are busy grabbing all rights by promoting lies and falsehood.

That brahmins constitute only 5% is also a big lie and not relevant. Other castes would perhaps be 1% or half a percent. The 52% or 25% figures have been cooked up by an artificial system of categorisation which can be easily turned around. For example the population of ‘chamars’ would be less than .50%. Ditto ‘khatiks’. Ditto ‘yadavs’. It is just a kind of categorisation. You can categorise in any way and prove that those outside the category constitute only x percent. The repeated quoting of bogus brahmin population figures is a criminal conspiracy to deprive them of their rights to live. In short it is a criminal genocidal conspiracy.

  19. Ram

First of all, I don’t think there is any castism except for POLITICAL reasons in India. The politicians want to cling on to it to win the elections. And ofcourse, the people who gain out of these reservations(sc,st,mbc, etc……) make the most out of it. These lucky ones can HAVE the CAKE an EAT it too.
BTW, HEY ADHIL, BUTT OFF U PAKI ASSHOLE, GO check whats happening in that failed nation of yours.
WHATEVER THE CASE BE, WE INDIANS STAY UNITED.

  20. Sunitha Ramesh

There is an organised hindu/non-hindu propaganda machine working overtime to manufacture and propagate theories and evidences on the basis of which various measures are continuously being taken to disenfranchise and deprive brahmins of their citizenship and their right to earn and live. Such criminal anti-social nazi elements need to prosecuted for promoting genocide and ethnic cleansing of brahmins in various states of India.

  21. Raju

What is wrong with Brahmin cleaning toilet? Does Brahmins still think this is job reserved for shrudra’s. For centuries Brahmins created cast system so that they can exploit people and remain on the so called top of society…They created manu smriti…law of Hindu’s, law by Brahmins for others..There were different punishment for Brahmins and other varnas for same crime…what kind of system is this…Hindu is a Brahminical religion…people are confusing with Hindu and Hinduism. Hinduism is a way of life and it is a collection of various practices/cultures of India. Brahmincal religion has lots of evil, evils written in the Vedas/manu smirit which was deliberately hidden by Brahmins so that people can follow their preaching blindly. Brahmin kept all knowledge of Veda and other spiritual books with them, they never shared this knowledge with others to maintain their superiority.

In modern India situation has changed and changing, this is making Brahmin’s insecure. Other casts are getting into fields once dominated by Brahmins and reserved for Brahmins, what is wrong if the situation has changed now with affirmative action . It is said in Vedas (Brahmin own book) one has to suffer for his Karma, now table has changed and Brahmins are suffering for Karmas of their past life.

Recently concluded Brahmin samelan in Pune Brahmin passed the resolution to follow Brahmin culture, a culture of beggar. I won’t be surprised if we see more beggars on the street of Pune. Another resolution was to marry within own cast to maintain race superiroty, if Brahmin thinks they are from some race which came from sky (Mouth of Brahma) then this is race is not belong on earth and it will be better if Brahma take them away and save them from all the suffering.

  22. Sunitha

I have consistently said that a huge section of the Indian society has fallen prey to false propaganda of anti-social criminals with genocidal desires and agendas. Not only such anti-social hate promoters promote false and bogus theories, they also consistently contradict themselves.

First there is a lot of difference between the so-called affirmative action (which is for the genuinely disadvantaged) and genocide, which is an act of criminality.

Secondly, people remaining uneducated after obtaining education, means that education for such persons is waste.

People who dislike Hinduism, while availing of reservation must embrace some other religion. Perhaps a visit to Afganistan will open their diseased minds.

If Vedas/scriptures are bad/evil, then one should be happy at not having learnt from them. One cannot condemn something and still say that I was deprived of its benefits!

If being a Brahmin is a culture of ‘beggar’, then Brahminism (whatever that may mean) being evil, exploitative etc is obviously false.

That is why I say that many people have fallen victim to vicious propaganda of anti-social genocidal criminals. A spell in jail (for violating Section 153A IPC) is the correct treatment for such anti-social criminals.

It seems these imbeciles have cannot even use their common sense to find out how humans are born and they continue to believe in some concoction that x was born from y place etc.
All said and done, no amount of reservation will drill common sense into their heads.

  23. tej

I reject the concept of reservations to all those useless sc,st,obc who seeks it even thought they have brains and enough money go be educated. If they seek resevations,it meant that they accept they do not have brain but only a shape of it with mud and animalshit. These always keep “Ambedkar”,who said to give quota only for 30 yrs and not more further. But,these useless guys are getting them even after 30+yrs by promising votes to political leaders. This reservations system should be cancelled by providing good facilities to every EBC student eligible irrespective of castes right from the school level.

  24. Sunitha

Tej has written that it is a question of votes. In fact ‘votes’ have nothing to do with the issue. It has everything to do with wishing and causing the ruin and destruction of a section of the society. Physically liquidating people is not possible these days. But ruin and destruction of people is easily possible by the means of ‘Social Justice’. Tamil Nadu is the best example of the above strategy, where the brahmins have been virtually liquidated from all fields. Therefore it would not be unfair to say that social justice is nothing but the destruction and liquidation of a section of the society by anarchist and anti-social elements.

  25. Sunitha

Why this fellow Aadhil (and the casteist gang to which he belongs) is a liar, a fraud and a propagator of genocide?

Bogus Claim 1: Aadhil quotes someone called “MANU” and has reproduced the following “Shravana, adhyana, arthapratishedhat smriteh ca (Brahma-Sutras 1.3.9.38)”
Meaning: The smrithi orders that shudras must be prohibited from hearing, studying and understanding the Vedas. MANU 162-272 says: If a Shudra arrogantly teaches Brahmins, Dharma, the king shall cause hot oil to be poured into his mouth and ears.

Fact: The nation of India is administered according to the constitution of India and various laws passed by Parliament/state legislatures/CMs, not according to some book called ‘manusmriti’ (actually written by people who wanted to demonise and defame the Brahmins and steal their rights). There is no king called Dharma to order oil to be poured into anyone’s mouth and ears and there is no historical evidence either that anybody called ‘Dharma’ caused ‘hot oil’ to be poured into the mouth and ears of someone called ‘shudra’.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 2: The average Indian literacy rate is 30% but the Brahmins are almost 100% literate!

Fact: As per Census 2001 GOI statistics, the national average literacy rate is 65.38% (male 75.96% and female 54.28%). The least literate state of Bihar has an average literacy rate of 47.53% (males 60.32% and women 33.57%), while the most literate state of Kerala has an average literacy rate of 90.92% (males 94.20% and 87.86%).
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 3: India is the only country in the world where one race has made education their
    exclusive monopoly.
Fact: As of today, all people of India are entitled to education upto school level and after that ‘Brahmins’ are not entitled to higher education except through the distance education mode. Brahmins are not entitled to even one seat in engineering, medicine, law, etc. Also, there are no races in India.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 4: Out of the total Indian doctors in the USA, 67% are Brahmins.
Fact: There is no such evidence. In any case once ‘brahmins’ have been driven out from India in the guise of ‘social justice’, where Brahmins go is no business of the genocidal groups or their representatives.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 5: Instead of serving the poor masses of India, these doctors (Brahmins) have opted to work in rich America and other Western countries.
Fact: There was a proposal to make one year’s rural service compulsory for MBBS students. The social justice MBBS students of TN (who comprise 97% of all MBBS graduates of TN) were the first to oppose such service. In any case, the right to live and work anywhere is a fundamental right, guaranteed by the constitution.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 6: Brahmin representation in the fields of engineering and law is 53% and 57% respectively. In the field of education their teachers and professors make up more than 51%.
Fact: Most states in India have atleast 50% reservation. TN has 69%. Is it possible for 5% population (false ofcourse) to actually have 53% or 57% representation? In TN, Brahmin representation is close to Zero percent in Govt jobs.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 7: Since independence, India has been ruled only by Brahmins. All the Prime Ministers (except VP Singh) have so far been Brahmins.

Fact: Nehru, Morarji Desai, Narasimha Rao, AB Vajapee were brahmins. Lal Bahadur Shastri, GL Nanda, C.Charan Singh, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, VP Singh, Deve Gowda, IK Gujral, MM Singh are all non-brahmins.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 8: In India the 5% Brahmins rule over 95% of the Indian population.

Fact: India is governed as per the constitution that was drafted by a constitution drafting committee whose chief was Mr BR Ambedkar.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 9: In South Africa 15% Whites rule over the 85% Black race. Does India then have any right to point an accusing finger at the apartheid policy of South Africa when the worst kinds of discrimination are being practised in India?

Fact: South Africa is ruled by Blacks since 1994. Whereas India is ruled since 1947 by a Government formed in accordance with the constitution of India and members of the Government are Indian citizens as defined by law. Prior to that, India was effectively ruled by the white british for about 90 yrs.
    ———————————————————————————————————————————
Bogus Claim 10: We talk “democracy” and “equality before the law” but keep a third of India’s 800 million people as Untouchables, unseeables and unapproachables!

Fact: India’s population is over 1100 million and not 800 million. If one-third of India’s people are
Untouchables, unseeables and unapproachables, where are they living and how it has been determined that they constitute one-third!

Bogus Claim 11: THE WEALTHY BRAHMINS MANU VII, 133 says that: “Brahmins should not be taxed and should be maintained by the State.” ABOUT LOW CASTE Shudras – MANU XMRITI X, 129 says that: No collection of wealth was to be made by a Shudra, even though he may be capable, for a Shudra who has acquired wealth would pain a Brahmin, and that Brahmins may appropriate by force the property of the Shudra.

Fact: All people of India pay taxes at the rates prescribed by the Govt of India. On the contrary, Brahmins and several others pay caste-based higher rates of school/college fees, application fees, property taxes etc

Bogus Claim 12: PANCHVANISH BRAHMIN 3-1/1 I says: Even if a Shudra acquired wealth, he must always remain a slave. His main job is to wash the feet of the higher caste. TULSIDAS, A Brahmin in his Ramayana writes: Even if a Shudra is learned and virtuous, he should not be given respect and honor.

Fact: No person of India is a slave of another person. As per constitution of India, all persons are entitled to dignity and respect. But all across India, Brahmins and many others are abused, reviled and treated like Jews in Nazi Germany and in many states are not allowed access to higher education and jobs.

Bogus Claim 13: When the British left India, almost all the industries owned by them were taken over by the Brahmins. So much so that today they own about 60% of the leading Industries in the country.

Fact: There is no such evidence. Most industries in India are owned by non-brahmins such as parsees, Sikhs, marwaris etc. In any case there is no law to prevent any person from owning industries.

Bogus Claim 14: Remember their (Brahmin) population is only 5% of the total population of India.

Fact: There is no such evidence. Even if they were 5%, what about it? Should they be Zero%. Doesn’t it show that this fellow Aadhil is a member of neo-nazi genocidal gang?

Bogus Claim 15: This then is the employment situation in India. The cream of the jobs goes to the five percent Brahmins.

Fact: When ‘Brahmins’ in India are entitled only to school education and not direct ‘college’ education, where is the question of their getting ‘cream of the jobs’? So far as ‘higher education’ is concerned, Brahmins are eligible to study only through distance education, which do not have much market value.

Bogus Claim 16: Do you get a fair salary for your hard work? Probably not! Because your paymasters are Brahmins.

Fact: The largest employers are probably the Central and State Governments and the salaries govt employees receive are as per Govt orders issued by politicians. When ‘Brahmins’ are not even entitled to ‘Higher Education’ (this is the situation prevailing in many states), where is the question of ‘Brahmins’ becoming paymasters. On the contrary it is the other way round.

Bogus Claim 17: Remember! Your children and grand children will suffer the same fate, or worse, if you don’t free yourself from the control of the Brahmin.

Fact: None of the children or grand-children are suffering from anything. The only suffering that is visible is that this fellow Aadhil is suffering from mental illness and delusions. A spell in a good mental hospital (along with his masters) will rid his mind of any fears.

Bogus Claim 18: Is there a Christian, Sikh or Muslim who has willingly embraced Hinduism? Even if a person should decide to become a Hindu, which caste will he choose? He cannot – for sure – become a Brahmin for according to Veda, he has to die three more deaths. But would any Brahmin object to his becoming a Shudra? The answer to that question is no, because history proves that conversion to Hinduism was forced upon people, mainly by the sword.

Fact: On the contrary, there is enough historical evidence that people were made Christians/ Muslims etc by the ‘sword’. The claim that people were converted to Hinduism by the ‘sword’ is fantastic to say the least. Hinduism is the oldest known religion in the world. Then how could people convert to ‘Hinduism’ when no other religion existed earlier to it?

Bogus Claim 19: It should be noted that in today’s 1990’s society…,

Fact: It is 2009 and not 1990’s. This fellow Aadhil it seems a mentally retarded moron who does not know how to think or count like many of the neo-nazi genocidal cateist gang to which he belongs.

Bogus Claim 20: The Indian government is currently trying to sway people into Hinduism via monetary coercion.

Claim: On the contrary several provisions (Article 30(1)) of the constitution actually encourage conversion to other religions. When being a ‘religious minority’ guarantees First Class Status, why the hell should anyone become a Hindu?

Bogus Claim 21: Is there a Christian, Sikh or Muslim who has willingly embraced Hinduism?

Fact: Yes. Thousands of Christian and muslim websites, even while condemning Hinduism for its ‘caste-system’, are demanding ‘Scheduled Caste’ status!!!! If these religions are ‘caste-free’, why the hell are they seeking ‘SC’ status to Christians and Muslims?

Bogus Claim 22: “Who has the major share of magazines/newspapers published in India? The Brahmins/RSS of course! According to a recent survey, their share of the media is approximately 81%. The following are the well-known newspapers that are owned by the Brahmins, not to mention so many others which are financed less by the Brahmins to blow their trumpets.
The Indian Express – 93% employees are Brahmins. The Hindu – 97% employees are Brahmins
The Times of India – 73% employees are Brahmins. These Brahmins have invaded both All India Radio and Television. Most of the time the Brahmins and their programs are on air.”

Fact: Most of the media companies are publicly listed and its shares are held by indeterminate people. In any case, IE is ‘owned’ by one Goenka/Khaitan who is not a ‘brahmin’. Similarly HT, TOI etc. The Hindu is owned by the Dravidian parties. So far as ‘caste’ of its employees is concerned, no one knows how many are employed in these companies and to which caste they belong. But what about Sun TV, Kalaingar TV etc?

most of today’s sc/st’s weren’t even part of civilisation..if you would go back to the time of guptas-they were people living in jungles, hills..most were only brought into civilization in the last 100s of years..
And brahmins, no matter how much sidelining of them and persecution they have had to face, a lot might eventually emigrate..and it is only a matter of time before opportunities dry out here..so they can find some other scapegoat for their ugly looks or stupidity, of which most of SC/STs have no end of. ..reservation originally given to give an unfair edge to their stupidity, as naturally they weren’t able to study or work as good as the rest..

Guys… i want quote from my personal life. During my school days, most of my friends were many times richer than me. My father was just a worker in a company earning wages not enough to meet our day-to-day expenses. He was the first graduate in our entire clan. My elder brother was the fist engineer in our entire clan. I remember my childhood days in early 1990’s when i used to shop provisions for one rupee. Hardly we used have stock of sugar, tea powder, rice for more than 3 days in my home. Whereas my friends parents were either politicians or doctors or engineers businessmen. And they are filthy rich. They use to come in cars to school. And to my surprise their sons and daughters were benefitted by quoto regime. Whereas i suffered in the name of reservations. Inspite of all hardships i scored 88% in my 12th standard. I could manage to get admission only in evening college and did BBA. Whereas my friends who were filthy rich and scored 40 to 60% got MBBS and BE admission. Due to my hardwork and continuous efforts today i am in a very good position. My country didnt help me, my caste didnt help me, politicians didnt help me. I am here because of my hardwork. The author of this blog should see both the sides of coin. Tell me frankly, you are in a good position now. Will your sons and daughters can sacrifice the reservations for poor. No they wont. They would like to enjoy the fruits without hardwork. This will not last long. Now world is shrinking. In the name of reservations one can get MBBS or BE seat. But talent and hardwork will win one day. MNCs will spit on the face of rich guys who reap benefits out of reservations. For the last fifty years, in the name of reservation our politicians are playing a mockery. Alert guys … i will change this soon…

i can hear more voices of being suppressed, sunitha ramesh comes to a conclusion that she is from the discussed, unreliable, insane community always and never wants to share almost anything it with anyone . she can sit in the temple and live her life there itself let us see which god helps her,

another topic which can be started

why every god appears to be white and not even one in dark colour ?,if there is one it has been made a worthless one though priceless ! .

  33. Sunitha

Can’t make head or tail of what this guy/girl ‘comrade’ has posted. Hence no comments.
However, in much of South India the idols of Ganesha are made of black stone. May be because carving of black stone is easier. In the north most of the idols are made of marble hence white. Comrade’s english seems to be very poor. You can declare yourself as weak (compared to whom?), backward (compared to whom?), suppressed (of what?) etc and snatch away other peoples rights but cannot become better.

  34. Priya

    hi

I actually thought this caste system and stuff is long over, until I recently came to meet a brahmin family living near my home.I met this woman in the temple.I was reciting some slokas and this woman came to me and started casual conversation.I am a non brahmin and seeing my fair skin, the woman of thought i must be a brahmin too and invited me to her house(She didn’t even bother to ask.May be she thought only brahmins can recite slokas.I donno).I went to their house and along the conversation she found out I am not a brahmin and that was it.She started constantly abusing non brahmins straight to me and she kept talking about all the washing and the poojas she had to do after I left(all with a smiling face).I left the place telling i just remembered some work I had.For someone like me who never had to encounter anything called caste when I grew up and actually believed that the practice of caste system is all history, it was a total shock! It was really very very insulting. It was painful.Just venting out here. And now I understand the pains my grand parents and parents and thousands of people would have gone through when they were humiliated. And I also understand how my mom has been protective of me, ‘coz i never have been through this in my entire life under my mom’s wings.Once i started my own moves in the society, these vultures are what i am facing.

If brahmins are really looking for concessions from the government then they should stop this ‘better than the rest of the world’ act. They should start treating other people with respect inspite of their caste. If they are suffering now,it is because of their attitude to stomp on other caste people. It is for good.Let them be like this.Cause the moment the government gives them some concession, they will push everyone else to the bottom and sit on top of people. They will reinvent caste system and we will be moving to the past.

If supressing this brahmin community(Not that they ever will be supressed.Just an idea) is going to give way to the development of every other caste in India, then it’s no wrong to do this to them.

  35. sunitha

On January 23rd, 2008 someone wrote “there is no irony in this. The brahmins still get the creamy layer of the employment and professional opportunities. They dont want to take any simple jobs. They just want to be in the “TOP” position to boss around the poor people of other caste.” Is that so? Which research has proven this? It is the same old Tamil Nadu falsehood being propagated. Even if the lie is true, which part of the constitution orders that “brahmins” should not aspire for the so-called “Top” jobs? Is there a reservation for “brahmins” for the top jobs? Produce statistics, and along with the constitutional provision that lays down that “top” jobs are reserved for the Brahmins. Produce the list of top 100 companies of India and let us see how many brahmins are in “top” jobs. It is a lie propagated by the casteist gang.

  36. sunitha

Raj on May 15th, 2008 has remarked “Already a lot of the brahmin that had the opportunity to leave have left due to lack of equal opportunities. After a while there won’t be any more left and who will you guys use as a scapegoat then?

Actually it is genocidal ethnic cleansing which is being pedalled as “social justice”. And be rest assured even if India is cleansed of all brahmins (which will surely happen) the neo-nazi gangs will continue to call themselves as “backward” and would still want reservations to guard against a non-existent enemy. And these same guys unmindful of their illtreatment of the brahmins are crying about how tamils in S.Lanka are being ill-treated!!!

  37. sunitha

One person obviously brainwashed by the casteist gangs has written about how x caste people have cleaned toilets. So what? People clean toilets in their own homes. What is the big deal? Toilets are less prevalent in villages because there are no flowing sewers and constructing sewers is the job of the government. If even after sixty years of rule by the dalits and so-called ‘backwards, if flush toilets do not exist in rural areas/villages, then who is responsible? A million times we have heard that the so-called ‘upper castes’ live in towns and cities. Now towns and cities have flush toilets. So who is making use of manual scavengers? It is the people who are now living in villages!! And who has denied them flush latrines? It is their own ‘backward’ government!!! It is amazing. For every kind of real or imaginary grievance, somebody (i.e the brahmins) are responsible. It is exactly the kind of propaganda carried out by the genocidal Nazis during the WWII. In any case, it is repeatedly stated that ‘brahmins’ constitute only a small percentage (3-10%) of the population. It means that the benefits of toilet cleaning is accruing most to the so-called ‘backwards’ who are supposed to be 52% or 60% or 85% or any other fancy figure you can arrive at by either sleight of hand or draw of lots.

  38. To Sunitha

I bet this person Sunitha is a 100% typical Brahmin. Please understand that this person is obviously referring to the X caste system, cleaning toilets in the olden days when people did remove s*** with their hands and placed it in bamboo baskets and carried them on their heads to dispose it in distant places. This was when there were no gloves and slippers or nothing.Evey human being who read this kind of thing will only pity them and their heart reaches out to this poor people who had to go through this.Only brahmins can answer in a reckless manner like ‘I didn’t ask them to do it’.Now you are an excellent example as to how a brahmin mind works.

And now if you are wondering how the poor, good, kind hearted brahmins were responsible for the caste system and how come everyone are blaming you guys. This is how.

When there was King’s rule prevalent in India,Kshathriyas were in the top position.Kshathriyas were honest people who did the war. They held all the top posts.Obviously they earned good money(for sacrificing their life in the war field). And brahmins were the next best. They were doing service to God.They could not earn more this way.But the power craving brahmins, initially made the simple pooja procedures into complex rituals and started enticing the kings with ‘homas’.They suggested a homa for everything and at the end of most homas it was like you have to offer a brahmin 1000 coins and rice and pulses or something like that.Slowly they got the kings to respect them a great deal.Respected by the King actually means respected by every one in the whole kingdom. And they remained this way, now with good money, new found respect looking for the next oppurtunity. When the East India Company entered India, the brahmins started learning english.(Most brahmins are easy linguistics.) and started working for the east India company and took high positions there. When through the east India company, the British came into our country and started capturing most small kingdoms and national leaders were fighting for the rights of people, these brahmins were still working for the British generation after generation. Finally when the British left India, most of their offices remained the same and were taken over by Indian officials(brahmins). Then it was like only the brahmins had the top job and had a very good living, until Government brought in the reservation system.Even then many people were not aware of this system and only recently are the schemes is acting in full swing. Now as our new generation brahmins could not get Government jobs like their fathers started seeking employment in private organizations. Then those who worked in the private companies, sent their sons to foreign countries for jobs, they got a green card and settled there.

And i find this word ‘brainwashed against brahmins’ is being used here a lot, i feel I should tell this here.

That brainwash thing is not true.

No one warns you about brahmins. You go out there and find out how cruel this can be.

By now I have faced say a hundred brahmins and i find them all unanimously selfish, honey coated poison tongue, opportunistic in a rude sort of way, would step on anyone to climb up(may be the genes) and no one warned me this is what I am gonna face.I was caught unaware. This brahmin trait you start seeing even in young brahmin kids even as young as age 10 or so.

So no one brainwashes us against brahmins. But I think may be we should atleast warn the next generation.
