Bonded processionists!
Many schools and similar institutions have a pernicious practice of making children roast themselves under the searing Sun while organising Human Chains and other kinds of processions. Whatever the cause, this kind of practice needs to be stopped forthwith.
Children are sent to school by their parents for academic and all-round development including sports and extra-curricular activities – not to be misused as processionists and cheerleaders.
Right now school children are merrily being used as fodder for such activities in total disregard of their personal inconveniences and requirement of creature comforts.
Let the adults’ issues be taken care of by adults. Why use children for that?
