A buck a pixel makes a Million!

Click for a bigger picture Read a story in News.com that Alex Tew, a 21 years old student from a small town in Wiltshire, England sells pixels, the tiny dots on the screen that appear when you call up his home page. (What would you and I do with those infernal pixels? Look at that boy’s ingenuity, man!)

The home page of his web site appropriately named as Milliondollarhomepage.com, “now looks like an online Times Square, festooned with a multicolored confetti of ads.”

Advertisers who have bought (really!) chunks of 100 pixels or more have discovered that they were receiving actual valuable Web hits for a fraction of the cost of traditional Internet advertising.

So far they have bought up 911,800 pixels.

So he is only a whisker sway from a Million $$$.

Hey, leave some green to the greens!

To promote your account of casino, bingo or bets

Ha been born a new Web type milliondollarhomepage.com but exclusively for casinos, biNgos.
By single 20$ you have the possibility of including your own block of 10 xs 10 Pixels or what is the same… 100 Pixels.

Il author assures that this block would be in index of the Web during a at least 5 period of years.

The Web site is casinobingos dot com.

If I was the kind of person who bought pixel ads, and let me stress I am no such thing because it’s so untargeted, I might go for something like companybattleships.com which seems to have some quite nice programming behind it and is doing well on Google for “pixels for sale” and “buy pixels”.
