Is number of comments a benchmark?
I read this in an Ubergeeks post:-
I think this is a major problem in blogging today. Many times posts about nothing get the most comments. Does this make a post more relevant than another? Far from it.
Surely a solace to my blog which is short on comments! 🙂

- My SQL, Your SQL or SCO SQL?
Well, seeing as this post is very important, I’ll add a little weight to it by commenting. 🙂
Dear SK: You have one guaranteed reader here in the US 🙂
Thank you, Mr.Chris Fehnel. I feel greatly honoured.
And Rx. Anand, I know I can count on your support all the time!!
Never..they are never a bench mark IMHO. As a matter of fact..I am seriously thinking of turning the comments off.!!
You might not know..but I have you blogrolled and do hop into your blog now and then..but no comments..!!
Thanks, Narayanan.
You’ll be rid of lots of headache when you turn the comments off. In fact I have 3 proggys working feverishly to combat comment spam!
However I wish to continue having this facility so that I’ll have the pleasure of reading the enlightened views of folks like you!
And talking about spam and cold-calls, we have Email (elongation :)) spam, sms spam, snailmail spam, IM spam, MLM spam and on top of it the comment spam. God knows what else is in store!

I don’t get too many comments on my blog, but don’t really care. I just wish there was an application that I knew how to use, that would enable me to count the number of times it was read.
Aloha,
Jeff
Jeff,
Thanks for visiting.
You can download a plugin to show the number of views in each post from here
I am using it in my blog, as you’d have observed.
